Privacy Policy

Bcome – AI Life Coach ("Bcome", "we", "our", or "us") is operated by Devend FZCO. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

Bcome is a personal development and mental wellness app that helps users build habits, track goals, journal their emotions, and receive AI-powered coaching. We take your privacy seriously and handle all data securely and responsibly.


1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our personalized coaching service.

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email registration, we receive:

  • Sign in with Apple: A secure Apple user identifier and an anonymized or relay email address
  • Sign in with Google: Your Google account identifier and email address
  • Email Registration: Your email address and encrypted password

We do not receive access to your Apple or Google account credentials or any other unrelated personal data.

1.2 Profile Information You Provide

During onboarding and app usage, you may provide:

  • Name
  • Birth date
  • Gender
  • Relationship status
  • Work situation
  • Daily schedule preferences
  • Preferred check-in times
  • Theme preference (light/dark mode)

1.3 Mental Health & Wellness Data

To provide personalized coaching, we collect:

  • Onboarding Questionnaire: Your responses about what brings you to the app, challenges you face, emotional triggers, previous self-improvement attempts, and goals
  • Journal Entries: Your written reflections, including situations, emotions, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors you describe
  • Mood & Emotional Data: Mood ratings, emotional states, and satisfaction levels you log
  • Habit Tracking: Habits you create, completion status, streaks, and notes
  • Goals & Tasks: Goals you set, milestones, priorities, and completion data
  • Time Tracking: Activity logs showing how you spend your time throughout the day
  • Calendar Events: Personal events and schedules you create

1.4 Voice Recordings

If you use voice input features:

  • Audio is recorded temporarily on your device
  • The recording is sent to our secure server for transcription
  • Audio files are NOT permanently stored – they are deleted immediately after transcription
  • Only the transcribed text is saved to enable the feature you're using

1.5 AI-Generated Content

Our AI mentor generates:

  • Personalized coaching responses
  • Weekly insights and pattern analysis
  • Habit and goal recommendations
  • Behavioral pattern identification

This generated content is stored to provide continuity in your coaching experience.

1.6 Analytics Data

We use AppsFlyer for analytics in strict privacy mode:

  • We do NOT collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID)
  • We track general app usage patterns (features used, session duration)
  • We track onboarding funnel completion
  • This data helps us improve the app experience

1.7 Subscription Information

  • Purchases are handled by Apple App Store In-App Purchases via Superwall
  • We do NOT store your credit card or payment information
  • We receive subscription status to unlock premium features

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect:

  • Location or GPS data
  • Photos or media from your device
  • Contacts
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID)
  • Browsing history
  • Data from other apps
  • Biometric data (Face ID/Touch ID is processed locally on your device only)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide personalized AI coaching and insights
  • Generate habit and goal recommendations
  • Track your progress and streaks
  • Create weekly wellness reports
  • Sync your data across devices
  • Send notifications you've enabled (reminders, insights)
  • Improve our AI coaching quality
  • Analyze app performance and fix issues

We do NOT sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.


4. AI Processing & Data Sharing

4.1 How AI Features Work

Bcome uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized coaching. To generate insights and recommendations:

  • Relevant data (journal entries, habits, moods, goals) is sent to our AI processing service (powered by OpenAI)
  • The AI analyzes patterns and generates personalized responses
  • Generated insights are stored to provide continuity

In-App Consent: Before any data is shared with OpenAI, Bcome presents a mandatory consent dialog that clearly discloses what data is shared, who receives it, and how it is protected. You must explicitly tap "I Agree" before any AI features can be used. If you decline, you retain full access to all non-AI features (habits, goals, tasks, journal, calendar). You can revoke this consent at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data → AI Data Sharing.

4.2 Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted services:

All third-party services are bound by strict data protection agreements and follow industry security standards.


5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider.

We implement:

  • Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
  • Secure authentication with PKCE flow
  • Row-level security policies
  • Regular security audits
  • Secure API endpoints

Your data is stored on servers that comply with international data protection standards.


6. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
  • Deleted accounts: All data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Voice recordings: Deleted immediately after transcription (not stored)

7. Your Rights & Choices

7.1 Access & Export

You can view all your data within the app at any time.

7.2 Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through:

  • In-App: Settings → Account → Delete Account
  • Email: Contact us at support@bcome.net

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile and personal information
  • All journal entries and emotional data
  • All habits, goals, tasks, and progress data
  • All time tracking and calendar data
  • All AI conversation history
  • All generated insights and reports

7.3 Privacy Controls

In the app, you can control:

  • Analytics: Enable/disable usage analytics
  • Crash Reports: Enable/disable crash reporting
  • Biometric Lock: Enable Face ID/Touch ID protection
  • Auto-Lock: Set automatic app lock timing
  • Notifications: Control all notification types
  • AI Data Sharing: Grant or revoke consent for sharing data with OpenAI for AI coaching, journaling, reports, and voice transcription

8. Children's Privacy

Bcome is intended for users aged 13 and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make significant changes, we will:

  • Notify you within the app
  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top

Continued use of Bcome after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
